Property Valuation and Value Registration
The Republic Geodetic Authority is a governmental institution entrusted with the task of property valuation and value registration by the Law on State Survey and Cadastre in 2011.
As a result of decades of work, the Republic Geodetic Authority has developed a modern, innovative, transparent and internationally recognized system for property mass valuation and monitoring of the property market status. According to international and European standards, mass valuation is defined as the process of determining the value of property on a certain date, using standardized methods against all data from the property market that is being observed, as well as a statistical examination of that data within the observed market. The system of property mass valuation of the Republic Geodetic Authority ensures the transparency and openness of the property market in the Republic of Serbia, support for social and economic policies, the basis for sustainable economic development as well as the objectivity of valuation for all citizens, the state and the economy.
